The Republican seminar on the activities of boards of trustees in the educational system took place on the 14^th of December, 2011. The most important participants of this seminar were professor Zh. K. Shaimardanov, Director of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education under the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan

On the 2nd of March, 2012, the round table on "Functional literacy of pupils: Current Problems and Solutions" with the participation of directors, head teachers and teachers of schools in Astana city took place.
