History

A new stage of accelerated economic and social development of Kazakhstan has set new challenges for its education system. Innovative education system development in a competitive global economy and globalization era require establishment of so-called “think tanks”.

Today, such centers are successfully functioning in all developed countries. In Kazakhstan, their effectiveness has been proven by popular research and analytical projects implemented by the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies, National Analytic Center and the Institute of Economic Research.

Given this positive experience, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan, the Government Decree of Kazakhstan from September 15, 2011 № 1063 created JSC "Information-Analytic Center".

Experienced policy analysts with extensive experience in the field of education, as well as young professional fellows of the Presidential Scholarship Program “Bolashak” - graduates of the best universities from the U.S., UK, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Czech Republic, Germany and France were invited to work at the Center.

On March 29, 2012, Center received the status of “research organization”, issued by the Central Committee for Education Control, Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan.
